ON THE NEOLITHIC AND COPPER AGE SIGNS IN ROMANIA
(NAMED BRUKENTHAL GRANT)
Call for a job:
F-MUSEUM project – IPCTE (University Lucian Blaga Sibiu) institutes a grant of 1200 Euros aimed to:
a) Collect and scan in Pdf the related Romanian literature (articles and books or chapters of books) concerning the topic of the signs from neo-eneolithic.
b) Select the key pages from the gathered literature
c) Translate in English the selected pages in form of single extracts
d) Organize the selected and translated pages according to sub-topics
The work will be published online on the F-MUSEUM project Website: http://europeanvirtualmuseum.net/. The grant is finance by F-MUSEUM project through Leonardo da Vinci program.
Application Format:

14. A short abstract (max. 2 A4) pages with a short essay about the neo-eneolithic in Balkans and the signs problem.

Steps to be follow:
A. Application deadline (for CV) is February 23, 2008. IPCTE research centre expects to notify applicants of the decision of the Committee in 27th of 2009. Application should be send to cosmin.suciu@ulbsibiu.ro.
B. Final interview for selected students: March 1st. The selected fellow is expected to sign a contract.
C. The selected researcher will start the work at the beginning of March. Then she/he will have one month to collect, select and scan the published articles/books, and two months for translation and organization of material.
The English version will be published online by the end of June.
The fellow will be monitored by the F-M.U.S.E.U.M staff.
Eligibility:
Any student (including doctoral and master too) who could prove that is enrolled in a university (in the grant life time) and knows Romanian and English languages. Knowledge and experience about Neo-Eneolithic cultures across Romania and related areas are required.
